tigrenokИногда я читаю топ. Выборочно, конечно. Вот захожу однажды, а там... Собаки и их жизнь: Россия vs. Прага. Как ласково собачек встречают в кафе Праги и как плохо на матушке-Руси. И что делать, кому челобитную подавать?
В Праге я была один раз, особо не интересуясь собачьим вопросом. А вот за другие места немного рассказать могу. За Хайфу и за Женеву, например.
Судя по состоянию хайфских тротуаров и даже детских площадок(!) собак в Хайфе более чем достаточно. И они явно неплохо кушают :)
Но, скорее всего не в кафе.
Много лет назад на ул. Герцель (одной из центральных улиц Хайфы) находилась забегаловка шуармы. Достаточно вкусной - клиентов у них всегда хватало.
Потом эту "точку" продали. Новые хозяева сначала подавали качественное мясо, добавляя туда немного баранины. Со временем качество мяса ухудшалось, цена росла, а отношение к посетителям менялось пропорционально качеству. Когда я туда зашла в очередной раз (скорее по привычке, чем из-за уже отсутствующего вкуса их продукции), они на моих глазах отказались запустить двух женщин с собакой-поводырём. Не просто служебная собака (в конце концов, при наличии денег и/или связей раздобыть соответствующею попонку не так и сложно), а собака-поводырь(!), которая одной из этих дам заменяла зрение. Хозяин, ссылаясь на санитарные нормы, предложил им откушать, стоя на улице, но зайти и сесть за столик ни-ни! Не какой-нибудь фешенебельный ресторан - открытая забегаловка далеко не на престижной чистой улице. Женщины ушли ни с чем, я туда больше не заходила. Вскоре место закрылось, потом открылось уже с совершено другим ассортиментом и хозяевами.
Тут я в ресторанах не была, если не считать один японский суши-бар, любимый местными школьниками. Поэтому, о наличии собак в ресторанах ничего рассказать не могу. Но в кафе-булочной, куда мы недавно зашли за булочками и круассаном собаки были в количестве аж двух штук. Вероятность встретить пса при посещении торговых центров явно выше 1/2. И это несмотря на наличии знаков, запрещающих собакам вход. Картина - собака, чино сидящая на скамейке, рядом с хозяевами - приобретает особый окрас, если добавить, что дело происходит прямо под уже упомянутой табличкой. Что поделаешь: декрет о всеобщей грамотности на собак не распространяется. Но тут хотя бы за собаками, как правило, убирают. Иначе был бы полный аврал, учитывая число последних. На улицах, на специальных огороженных площадках и на газонах, включая лужайки со знаками: "Ни пса!" :) Большие и маленькие, чистокровные и дворянины. Меня особенно поражают совместные выгулы огромных псов с моськами, по сравнению с которыми даже хозяйская йошкерица Тара за собаку сойдет. В Хайфе я такую видела только раз у одной своей студентки, а тут они довольно популярны. Идут с таким видом, что и обратиться с вопросом страшно. Так, кажется, и услышишь в ответ: "Нахал! Это я егопродаю выгуливаю!"
Однако, пора возвратиться к началу
В упомянутой челобитной был приведен эпизод, вызвавший мое особое восхищение: при полете в Прагу товарищей с собакой посадили на самый задний ряд (кресло не откинуть, псу места нет, о ужас-ужас), когда при вылете из Праги наши чешские друзьязабросили еще одну шайбу посадили их на самый лучший ряд эконом-класса!
Так вот, когда мы с мамой вылетали из Праги, то нас посадили просто на первый ряд и безо всякого пса (рейс чартерный, все ряды экономом проходили). А когда мы летели из Цюриха в Женеву, и наш предыдущий самолет опоздал по вине той же компании "Свис", то нас посадили на самый задний ряд. И напрочь отказывались пересадить под разнообразными предлогами, несмотря на наличии свободных мест впереди. И кресла у них в последнем ряду также не откидывались. Да, я забыла упомянуть: у нас с собой был 4-х месячный ребенок. Но, наверно, в местной иерархии, это будет пониже любого пса.

Dogs!
Sometimes I read the "Top". So, on one day I entered the site, and there... Dogs and their life in Russia vs. Prague. How well dogs are welcomed in Prague's cafes, and how pour their life is in Russia, where you are not allowed to take your dog to many places. The main question at the article was: what to do, where they can complain, and whom they can to file a petition?
Well, when I was once in Prague, I wasn't interested in "dogs" question. But I can tell a little bit about other places, for example, about Haifa and Geneva.
Judging by the state of Haifa sidewalks and even children playgrounds(!), there are more than enough dogs in Haifa. And they obviously eat very well:) But probably not in the cafes.
Many years ago there was a little shawarma eatery on the one of the main streets of Haifa. They cooked quite tasty and people often fill their little place. Then this "point" sold. The new owners first served quality meat, adding to turkey a little lamb. Over time, the price rose, when the quality of the meat with welcoming of clients went down. When I came there again (more because of my habit than because of taste of their products, that hadn't existed any more), they refused to allow two ladies with a guide-dog to enter and sit down at the table. It wasn't a regular "service dog" (after all, if you have money and/or "right" acquaintances, it's not so difficult to get a sign "service dog"), but it was a guide dog, which was as substitute for vision for one of these ladies. The owner, referring to the sanitary norms, offered them to dine, standing on the sidewalk. It wasn't a fashionable restaurant, but regular outdoor eatery on pretty dirty and pour street. The women left with nothing and I did not go there anymore. Soon the place was closed, then it was reopened by other people and service.
Here I was not in local restaurants, except for a Japanese sushi bar - the favorite place among the local schoolchildren. Therefore, I can't tell you anything about the presence of dogs in restaurants. But in the nearest cafe-bakery, where we recently came in to buy french rolls and croissants, we counted two dogs. The probability to meet a dog during a visit to shopping centers is definitely more than 1/2, despite of signs prohibiting the entrance to dogs. A picture - a dog sitting on a bench next to its owners - turns to cute, if you add that it happens right under the already mentioned sign. What is it possible to be done? Pour dogs are illiteracy: these creatures can't read. But people here at least remove dogs-waste, otherwise, it would turn to big problem, if you think about the great number of des chiens.
You can see many different dogs everywhere: on streets, in special fenced areas and on lawns, including lawns with signs: "No dogs!" :)
As I've already written, les chiens sont très différent ici, but the most interesting experience is to see how a huge dog(s) going for a walk together with a very little one, even comparing with our landlady's yorkshire terrier Tara. In Haifa I saw a "pocket" dog like this only once, but here they are quite popular. And these dogs look at you in such way, that it prevents you to ask them any question, because it seems, that they are going to answer as in one famous cartoons: "Rude fellow as you! It's me, who takes the others for a walk!"
However, it's time to go back to the beginning of the story. In the "petition" was an episode, which I liked the best: the complaining people during their flight to Prague were seated on the last row (it was impossible to tilt the chairs, there was no enough place for their dog - horror-horror!). While they were returning from the Prague the good Czech guys gave them the best seats they could: the first row in economy-class section!
Well, when my mom and me flew back from Prague, "the good Czech guys" put us on the first row of the plane and without any dog! (It was a charter flight - all the rows were in an economy-class section).
However, when we flew from Zurich to Geneva, and our previous plane was late due to the fault of the same company "Suisse", we were put on the most back row too, and the crew refused to improve the situation and to move us to available chairs ahead. And of course, it was impossible to tilt the chairs and there was no enough place. Yes, I forgot to mention: we were carrying a 4-month-old baby. But perhaps in the local hierarchy, a 4-month-old baby is consider below any dog.
