Сегодня закончили шить сумочки. Наибольшие овации сорвал единственный мужчина среди всех нас. Овации усилились, когда он торжественно пообещал подарить сию сумочку своей жене. Правда, бутылку безалкогольного шампанского открыл только после просьбы - сам инициативу не проявил и помощь не предложил.

Ну а наибольшим вниманием пользовался Джунджи 16 месяцев от роду. Правда, родился в июле, вопреки своему имени. Уже изучает детскую книгу: буквы, цифры, цвета и геометрические фигуры в картинках. Интересно, когда малыши начинают воспринимать картинки и отождествлять их с реальными предметами/животными? Периодически что-то комментировал по ходу демонстрации любимых картинок, напоминая мне попытки обучить птичку азбуке. Так и хотелось воскликнуть: "Нашу птичку попрошу не обижать!", особенно когда стол уже был накрыт, а еду ему еще не предложили. Поел, и всем продемонстрировал парочку асан. Вырастет, и будет открывать бутылки с шампанским, может быть даже одним взглядом, а главное не дожидаясь просьб. Малыш положительный!

Today we finished sewing handbags. The only man among all us got the greatest applause, especially after he had promised to gift his wife with that bag. But, in my opinion, his rating dropped a little, when he didn't offer his help to open a bottle of alcohol-free champagne. He did it, but only after one lady asked him for help.

Most attention went to Junji - a very cute baby 16 months old, who was born in July to my surprise. He's been already taught a kids book: letters, numbers, colors and geometric shapes in pictures. I wonder at what age kids begin to recognize pictures and associate them with real objects and animals. From time to time he tried to say something when his favorite pictures were shown to him, reminding me efforts to teach a bird alphabet. I would like to exclaim: "I'd ask not to offend our bird!", especially, when the meal had been already put onto the table, but hadn't been offered to the baby. The baby was opening his mouth like a little chick. But I thought they wouldn't understand me, because they had never seen this cartoons. After Junji had eaten, he demonstrated us some yoga asanas. He will grow up and open bottles, maybe even by a glance, and the most important, without waiting for any requests. He's a great kid!
