Duo, My Sweetheart

tigrenokProfessor Duo (The Owl) is a big fan of changes - the old Chinese wisdom is not for him. He changes the characters in the stories (Why? Pourquoi? Warum?), he rewrites some of the dialogues, removes the old stories (I will ask to return at least the story about "my dog Max" - this is our favorite one!), and adds new ones.
But there was one thing, what I had not notice before, i.e. first noticed this Sunday: they had switched their time...
Well, I'll tell you everything step by step.
Every Sunday at midnight, Duo restarted the account, gave prizes and made transfers. Outsiders were transferred to a lower league, and the first guys (and the girls aussi) from the current league were transferred to the higher one. Usually I found out this already on Monday, because the main danger of the carriage to be turned into a pumpkin and to descend to the league lower was precisely on Sunday evening (at midnight, to be precise), because Duo's clock stroked at midnight GMT, which was quite logical.
But one Sunday I suddenly noticed that Dou has changed the clock and made all the changes at 9 pm. Who lives by this time?! Who has midnight at 9pm (okay, at our 9pm :)?
Who has changed Duo's watch?

Well, now to the story and its change, which I really liked.
Earlier it told about the first joint evening of Laura and her fiance, and how people are looking for compromises. Don't worry, going ahead I'm informing you: they will get married, although Laura was in doubt until the last moment, and even almost canceled the ceremony three minutes before its beginning.
But I have already written that they sometimes change names and details.
The new story was at first with a similar scenario: the first joint weekend of Bea and her friend Simon. Simon, having come to Beya's home, immediately began to offer his innovations, i.e. tried to establish his own order, like... Dolores Umbridge.
Even the picture of the Cat, drawn by Bea's cousin, did't pleased with Simon. Bea was listening him, reflecting, and ... suggested this friend to look for a hotel. No, not immediately, but after the fourth grievance. Cat's painting was the third, but Bea is absolutely right.
A single statement does not mean anything yet, and here you can give many explanations. But, if you see a bird that walks like a duck, swims like a duck, quack like a duck (and so on many times), then there is a duck in front of you (or a drake), but not a white swan.
Hence, if you take into account that Simon is not a duckling any more, the probability of his transformation into a white swan is very little. Bea, I respect you, you are a smart girl!
