Today it snowed again. The snow-flakes fell down and some of them were caught by the spider-nets remaining behind a window since summer. It's already possible to see some fir-trees in windows of houses. Our house is already decorated too. The first time I saw a fir-tree this year was on Friday a week ago: the poor tree was cut down and carried somewhere on a car roof.

Today my trip home from the downtown was not too bad, but I definitely had better ones. This morning they decided to repair the subway again, and closed all the stations from Alewife to Harvard. I waited for a train for a long time, but I still hoped to catch the bus number 74, which doesn't go very often on weekdays, don't talk about weekends. But, unfortunately, I wasn't too lucky. There were 3 girls at the exit from the train laughing and squealing so loudly, that any young man neither on the train nor at the station had chance to miss those teenagers. Might be, all their energy went to sound waves and the angular speed of rotation, so their progress in moving  ahead was little. In this case three is already a lot, at least it was enough to create a traffic jam, so I missed my bus and took a shuttle. Now I know why they don't write off old buses: they use them as shuttles during subway repair. There are TWO intermediate stops between Alewife and Harvard. They changed the shuttles TWO times! In other words, we needed THREE buses to go through THREE stops! Thanks for long twilight and snow! Otherwise I had to go back to Harvard by the ... shuttles and wait for a bus there as long as it would be necessary, because I didn't have any flashlight with me to get from the Alewife station to my place.
